Superior Materials and Design
Through the years of training and teaching in Law Enforcement and the Fire Service the members of UNHINGED came to realize the glaring need for new and dynamic training environments. Acquired-structures are more and more difficult to find. When a structure is acquired the training participants quickly orient themselves as drills are conducted, which in turn minimizes the usefulness of the structure. To counter this UNHINGED began bulding wooden walls to change building layouts and extend useful training in structures. This completely changed the dynamic of training. Structures could be built out and modified almost endlessly. The training feedback was amazing. The group then decided to build upon the idea. Through rigorous engineering and T&E the UNHINGED training system came to be. This new system improved upon everything the wooden wall system couldn't offer. UNHINGED offers an incredibly light wall panel constructed of closed-cell foam and an ABS/pultrusion combination. UNHINGED panels weigh in at 60 pounds, almost half the weight of comparable wooden panels. Each panel is wrapped in a fiber-reinforced pultrusion providing durability through years of tough use. The construction materials utilized offer you a product that is weather-proof and can be used inside, or outside. The patent-pending number US 63/773,138 HLOX System secures quickly and securely, allowing construction with a single person. The design also allows for construction on uneven surfaces. Any area can be used as your training ground! Also offered with our system is our proprietary window and door systems. Windows can be used for breaching and/or entering. Our door system can quickly be re-configured to inward, outward, left, or right opening within a minute. The system is ONLY limited by your imagination.
