NTOA Conference – Washington, D.C. Recap
This past week, we had the privilege of attending the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Conference in Washington, D.C. For those who may not be familiar, the NTOA is a nationwide organization dedicated to supporting law enforcement officers through training, education, and the exchange of knowledge. Their mission is to enhance the performance and professionalism of law enforcement personnel so they can better serve their communities.
The annual NTOA Conference is one of the premier events in the industry, bringing together officers, trainers, commanders, and vendors from across the country. It’s not just a conference—it’s a meeting place for some of the most dedicated professionals in law enforcement who are constantly striving to improve their skills, share lessons learned, and prepare for the challenges they face in the field.

From the moment we arrived, we could feel the sense of purpose. We had the honor of meeting incredible law enforcement personnel who embody what it means to serve and protect. These men and women are committed to bettering themselves, not for recognition, but for the citizens they serve every day. Hearing their stories and seeing their passion firsthand was truly inspiring.

We also connected with outstanding vendors showcasing the latest and greatest in tactical gear, technology, and training equipment. It’s clear that companies are stepping up to ensure first responders have the tools they need to operate effectively and safely. From innovative training systems to cutting-edge protective equipment, the future of law enforcement support looks stronger than ever.
One highlight for us was being able to share our own modular training system, designed specifically for military, security, corrections, and law enforcement users. Our system gives agencies the ability to reconfigure spaces quickly, creating realistic, scenario-based training environments that adapt to the mission at hand. The UNHINGED system is a great complement to the other solutions showcased at the conference—enhancing those products by providing a higher level of hands-on, real-world training. We were excited to show how our system can be used to quickly build a training environment and then be quickly reconfigured to keep training fresh and participants thinking!
Walking through the exhibits and sessions, one thing was obvious: everyone—whether an officer, trainer, or vendor—was there with a common goal: to improve, to adapt, and to prepare. That kind of dedication is what sets the NTOA community apart.
We left D.C. energized, grateful, and proud to be part of an industry where people are constantly pushing themselves and supporting each other. A huge thank you to everyone we met and to NTOA for hosting such an impactful event. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
